General Site Engineering and Infrastructure for single family home subdivision of (32) homes. Includes all underground utilities, mass grading, finish grading & site concrete, roadways, and landscaping. Located and negotiated site for 20,000 cubic yards of soil off-haul.
Skycrest Village – San Bruno, CA $7.5 Million, Kenmark Real Estate
New construction of (12) single-family semi-custom residences including all infrastructure for the subdivision. Involved with all aspects of the project from design, approvals, construction, marketing, sales and property management.
355 Berry St, Mission Bay – San Francisco, CA $44 Million, Urban Housing Group
193 Units, Mid-Market Residential Apartment Building. Two level concrete podium, post-tensioned parking garage with four levels of wood frame construction. Self-performed concrete work, type III construction. Challenges included logistics (surrounding infrastructure was undeveloped and under construction) and 4 hour area separation walls.
Boudin at the Wharf – San Francisco, CA $7.3 Million, Boudin Bakery
Demolition of famous existing bakery and construction of a new two-story steel frame bakery, restaurant, and museum.
Concrete was self-performed and some challenges were long procurement material items such as the structural steel, and cement board siding shipped from the Netherlands. Public safety was an issue as Fisherman’s Wharf is a very high traffic area in the Spring and Summer months.
First Step for Families – San Mateo, CA $5 Million, Shelter Network
Demolition of existing building and construction of two new wood framed transitional housing shelters. The project consisted of 39 units available for emergency and transitional housing, a daycare center, career center and administrative offices.
Old St. Mary’s Cathedral – San Francisco, CA $6 Million, SF Archdiocese
Seismic Retrofit of #2 historical bldg in SF damaged in the 1989 earthquake. The structural upgrade included new foundations, walls and columns, epoxy cores, and structural steel in the roof/attic. The church remained open throughout construction. Structural steel was installed with a crane through small access holes in the existing roof.
San Francisco County Jail #3 Replacement – San Bruno, CA $14 Million, City of San Francisco
Worked as subcontractor on concrete superstructure for the new jail containing 400 cells, administration building, offices and maintenance rooms. Managed & tracked daily production of formwork/concrete crews. Used new Outinord Tunnel Form system and saved three months off the original construction schedule.
