Hill-TMG is a joint venture between Hill International (50%) and Talat Mustaffa Group (50%) formed in May 2008.. This JV was created to provide project manage services on a number of mega projects in Egypt and Saudi value approximately US$ 6 billion of construction costs.. Hill is one of the leading American and International Project Management companies and TMG is one of Egypt’s leading development companies. .
Reporting to the CEO: Responsible for the set up of HR policies and procedures specific to the new company with emphasis to ensure compliance with the labour laws of Egypt and Saudi, and in addition, to provide leadership and support to the projects in Egypt and Saudi. Also for the recruitment of approximately 200 employees that include senior management and engineering staff.
Duties:
The design and implementation of strategic and operational development of HR.
• Liaising closely with project Directors and heads of departments, in a consultancy role,
• assisting Project Directors and Line Managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;
• promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the company;
• recruitment and retention of staff
• provide management with reports in relation to HR
• developing policies on issues with regard to working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
• negotiating with employees on issues relating to pay and conditions
• maintaining records relating to staff;
• interpreting and advising on employment legislation;
• listening to grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
• delivering training to Project Directors and Line Managers in relation to HR

Head of Human Resources
Sama-ECH is a joint venture between Sama Dubai LLC (51%) and EC Harris LLP (49%). The joint venture was formed on the back of the rapid growth of the Sama Dubai portfolio, and the increased need to apply State of the Art project management techniques and procedures, supported by web based collaborative software. The joint venture formally commenced activities in September 2007, and has grown to over 280 staff from an initial 80. The current portfolio exceeds AED 180 Billion (£24 Billion) of construction costs.
Reporting to the COO: Responsible to provide leadership and support for all Human Resources matters within the GGC region (UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, KSA). Managing a team three HR staff and PRO’s.
The design and implementation of strategic and operational development of HR in the GCC countries.
Duties are similar to those above in Hill International.
