I have been involved in the construction industry for over 25 years from laborer to tradesman, sub-contractor, contractor, and now management so I know the steps necessary to take a project from inception to completion. I have extensive civil experience to prepare the site and install proper grades, utilities, and pads prior to vertical construction and the communication abilities to insure smooth transaction from dirt to framing. My background covers a wide range of construction projects such as commercial, retail, interior design and build, rehab and remodeling, multifamily and single family dwellings, condos with underground parking garages and waterfront condos. I have the ability to read blueprints and specs to foresee future problems and work to correct them with RFI’s but I also have problem solving skills for the unforeseen glitches that pop up from time to time. I am computer literate and have used several software programs such as Sure Trak, Timberline, Primavera and 3D architect.
In the construction world a project starts with a dream or an idea, whether it is a new project on undeveloped land or an addition or complete rehab it helps to have the ability to see the finished product in your mind before beginning the task……………I have this ability. When I was in the contracting end of the business many ideas got started on a scrap piece of paper or napkin at a restaurant, seeing these ideas grow and come to fruition is a very satisfying feeling knowing you were there at the very beginning. I have worn many hats in my career and would be a great asset to any companys team in almost any construction role they placed me in.
