Supervised preventative maintenance and storage of two- (2) 500 MW gas fired combined cycle cogens with two-(2) Deltek (HRSG’s) for a two- (2) year mothball. Ensured the storage requirements of all equipment was within the manufacturer’s specifications.
Macintosh Power Plant Siemens-Westinghouse 501G Conversion – Lakeland, FL

Supervised a simple cycle to a combined cycle scope of work. Responsible for hydro testing, restoration and posting of all systems for the 350 MW conversion, which included the testing of a Nooter Erickson Heat Recovery Steam Generator with a two stage rotary air cooler system. Performed final alignment of thirteen (13) pieces rotating equipment, hydro testing, posting of 45,000 feet of pipe, and sold 23 system packages while working closely with the client, A/I and vendor representatives.
Addition for Alstom Power to American National Power’s Combined Cycle Gas Plant – Midlothian, TX
General Foreman (03/00 to 07/01) S&B Construction / Engineering
Scope of work, for this 500 MW addition, consisted of installation of two (2) single shaft KA24-1 CTG/STG units and auxiliary equipment, a fuel gas system with compression, preheat, demineralized water, raw water, and condensate systems. This project entailed approximately 45,000 feet of alloy and carbon steel piping and tubing systems.
Maya II Expansion Project for Shell Chemical – Deer Park, TX
General Foreman (09/99 to 03/01) S&B Construction / Engineering
Supervised the revamp and turnaround of the DU-2 Unit for this $221 MM direct labor project. Scope of work consisted of pre-turnaround planning with the MPO and operations departments, which included planning, trial allocation and timing. Responsible for the installation of fifteen (15) pieces of new equipment, over 400 new spools, 3,000 feet of straight run pipe, and 200 tie-ins during the pre-turnaround process. Actual turnaround duties included the planning, trial allocation and installation of six (6) pieces of equipment, 240 spools, 1,200 feet of straight run pipe, 1,500 feet of demo pipe, and 400 tie-ins.
Phenol 3 Project – Shell Chemical – Deer Park, TX

Supervised the offsite (OSBL) construction and tie-in scope of works, which consisted of planning, trial allocation, installation of 125,000 feet of offsite piping, and 264 tie-ins into existing units and equipment over the entire chemical complex. Assisted in the mechanical completion system turnover of this $185 MM project two (2) weeks prior to the originally scheduled completion date.
Victoria VTO Revamp ad Turnaround Project – Equistar – Victoria, TX

Coordinated the installation of a new extruder, compressor and pellet polisher. Responsibilities included the installation of 2,500 feet of new pipe and ten (10) pieces of equipment for pre-turnaround.
