Resume
Chase Sessions
Electrical Apprentice, 4th Year
My Career Goals: I have a family and they are first in my life. Now, because they are first in my life, failure in my career is not an option for me. If I fail in my career then I have failed what means the most to me. That is why my goal is to succeed and do my best at whatever task is set in front of me. I want to do what I love and do it well. I want to learn from those with more knowledge and wisdom. I want to be an asset to a company that sees me as an asset. My desire as an electrician is to further my knowledge in the commercial and industrial fields. I hope to take my Journeyman test in 1-2 months and someday become a Master Electrician. If my goals meet your goals as an employer then I am the man for the job.
Work Experience: Most of my work experience is in construction. I am 26 years old and feel that I have a lot to offer with my skills and abilities. I worked as a framer for Sainsbury Construction for 2 years, I installed security for APX Alarm for 2 years, and now for the last 4 years I have been working for Sessions Electrical under the supervision of Lynn Sessions(Master Electrician) and Braide Sessions(Journeyman Electricican). My electrical knowledge is well rounded from small remodels to extravagant custom homes(log and stick framed), services small(100 amps) to large(800 amps), underground and overhead, romex installations, conduit(PVC, Seal Tite Flex, FMC, EMT, and RMC), and much more. I understand how to safely use and store tools and equipment. I have a good knowledge and experience base and would like to expand that knowledge and experience even further.
Education: Graduated from Twin Bridges High School in Montana with honors as the Salutatorian. Spent 2 semesters as a Computer Science Major at Idaho State University before serving a 2 year Mission for the LDS Church in Peru. Just completed my 4th and final year in the Electrical Apprentice correspondence program at Idaho State University, and am now studying to take the state Journeymen test within 1-2 months after I receive around 100 more on the job training hours.
Skills and Languages: I have many useful and applicable skills that can be a benefit to your company. Having worked most my working career in construction I know how to use most tools involved such as: drills, saws, lifts, nail guns(frame and trim), levels, squares, routers, wire racks, wire pullers, hole hogs, and much more. I am bilingual in the Spanish and English languages and can communicate well with those I work with. I am a people person and a team player. I know that if I can help others be successful around me then I will in turn be successful. I am organized, clean cut, honest, trustworthy, and full of ambition. I will not let you down.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Chase Sessions
