Early completion by 2 months led to increased revenue to client, decreased overhead costs by nearly $16,000, and subsequent repeat work on property located in Orlando, FL.
• Marriott Grande Vista Resort – Project Manager responsible for leading project team of eight, through the construction of Six (6), six-story, 80,000sf, 48-unit timeshare buildings and swimming pool complex, with combined volume of $45 million in Orlando, FL. Self-performed concrete, masonry, door/frame/hardware and bath accessory installation scopes, realizing additional savings of nearly 4% of prime contract amount, resulting in 75% savings to client. Each building completed early, despite nearly $500k in damage as a result of September, 2004 hurricanes.
• Alexander Key Investments - $300,000 tenant improvements for new client, on 7th floor of Suntrust Tower in Orlando, FL. Project, consisting of third-shift/after-hours work, was completed on-time, and, due to ability to self-perform critical work, create and manage the schedule, and incorporate well-defined scopes, a return of shared savings of nearly 2% to client resulted.
• South Beach Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC – Led project team of three on Phase I of $8 million timeshare resort, consisting of two (2) 4-story, 20-unit wood structure buildings and 10,000sf Reception Building with pool.
• Myrtle Beach International Airport Canopy Improvements - $1 million addition and renovation to existing airport terminal. Managed all phases of construction, including estimating, supervision, scheduling and close-out, while maintaining critical traffic flow patterns for client, and completing 1 week early. Improved projected fee by 6%.
• Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel - $32 million, 12-story, 404-room hotel, and 6-story, 105,000 sf parking garage. Project Manager responsible for estimating, cost reporting, management of labor and subcontractor negotiations and contracting.
• Trinity Preparatory School Education Center – $3,300,000 addition, totaling 31,000sf, housing fine arts department, classrooms, offices and focal point 800-seat auditorium in Winter Park, FL. Completed project from 50% milestone; responsible for cost monitoring and forecasting, processing changes. Met critical completion date, necessary for May 1998 graduation activities.
• Caribe Royale Resort Suites – Assistant Project Manager, responsible for writing scopes of work, monitoring self-perform costs, issuing subcontracts and purchase agreements.
