Intern Architect: In-house leader for the Cortile Subdivision. Responsible for the layout and drafting of construction drawings for four high-end residential home plans with approximately 15- 20 options each. Worked from sketches and presentation renderings. Consolidated all options into the plans and discerned how various options would affect the various plans and elevations. Coordinated with the structural engineer to assure that the foundation and concrete walls and beams all worked with-in the context of the design and with all the various option combinations. Coordinated custom design changes requested by the owner.
K. Hovnanian (Parkside Homes) and Texas Four Architects Houston, TX 2000 – 2005
Intern Architect: Performed the duties of draftsman for production homes. Drafted plans and implemented changes and adjustments to plans, elevations, and sections. Integrated house and plot plans. Texas Four included plans for several builders and custom changes for DR Horton. All Parkside plans were in-house designs.
