Fire Protection Coordinator - 1994 to 1996
Managed the fire protection program for numerous building construction projects and worked directly with the Sprinkler Crew in coordinating riser shutdowns with security, and closely followed the NFPA & TI standards, as well as Factory Mutual Approved Drawings. Developed the Fire Protection layout for the design of the 17 drawings (including a 10,000-sq. ft. area).
Drafter/Sr. Drafter/Technician - 1978 to 1991
Began with the company as a Drafter and progressed into Sr. Drafter/ Technician positions. Successfully initiated and managed a Drawing Control System (based on quarter scale drawing format), utilizing a three file method with separated overlay groups "permanent structure, furniture layouts and all utility layouts". Prepared a manual and quarter scale drawing numerous building and sites, which dealt with complex building systems including building structures, waste treatment systems, HVAC, furniture, electrical, plumbing, and lighting layouts.
