Continental Office Environments – Columbus, OH 2006 – 2009
Project / Design Consultant
Recruited based on prior experience working with Continental, while with Qwest, to provide project management, design, and consulting expertise to clients including Limited Brands, State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office, ODJFS, URS Corporation, Red Roof Inns, American Municipal Power, and Chase Bank. Worked with clients seeking reconfiguration or renovation of existing office spaces, conducting initial assessments to present options and estimates prior to managing the entire project. Processed moves, adds, and changes involving Continental vendors and other industry partners.
Selected Accomplishments:
Served as the lead project manager in the renovation of Limited Brand’s vacant Lane Bryant building; solicited RFPs for demolition and reconstruction, oversaw construction and build-out, and held leadership role in layout design and installation of flooring and furnishings.
Demonstrated adaptability and expertise during the 18-month Limited Brands project as the end-user changed 3 times, requiring skill in optimizing floor space utilization, furniture configurations, and allocation of a multimillion-dollar project.
Managed corporate reconfigurations, working with clients to inventory office environments, strike a balance between use of new and existing materials, and manage projects ranging from just a few workstations to 200,000 sq. ft. of floor space with 300+ stations.
Qwest Communications – Dublin, OH 1994 – 2004
Senior Property Administrator
Guided the development and property management of the Qwest Dublin-based campus—and later 55+ sites throughout a 4-state region—taking it from 1 to 8 buildings to house a 10-fold growth to 4,500 employees. Managed construction and property administration projects, overseeing daily operation of company-owned and noncompany-owned facilities. Worked with vendors to maintain the interior and exterior of properties, cultivating relationships to ensure optimal client support. Met budget and service requirements for each facility and project.

Brought 100% of projects to completion on time and under budget, managing contractors to ensure all project objectives were achieved. Directed project including space planning, interior building construction, move and relocation management, and property maintenance.

Augmented Facilities & Corporate Real Estate role upon being asked to assume project management accountabilities within the Design & Construction team; managed construction projects for 6 corporate sales offices before being transferred to the Great Lakes region.
Oversaw 57 sites—data centers, corporate offices buildings, network sites, and right-of-way buildings—throughout a 4-state region, including the 7th floor of the NBC tower in Chicago.
