Sr. Payroll & Benefits Administrator/Wellness Program Manager (February 2007 – Present)
Responsible for all facets of benefits administration for 300+ employees in three divisions and 20+ states. Hands-on responsibilities include 401k, COBRA, FMLA, FSA, health & welfare benefits; federal, state and local payroll taxes; workers compensation & general liability; ADP HR/Benefits Solution maintenance. Reporting responsibilities include HR metrics dashboard, employee census, headcount & trend analysis, allocation of carrier benefits for general ledger; filing of 5500s and 401(k) audit. Major accomplishments: 2007 – overhaul of company PTO benefits; 2008 – implementation of ADP HR/B with EDI carrier connections; establishment of employee self service website including online open enrollment; 2009 – designed and instituted a Wellness Program with Health Risk Assessments, biometrics, flu shot clinics, monthly newsletters, lunch ‘n learns, and other monthly events.
Payroll & Benefits Administrator (July 2005 – January 2007)
Responsible for processing payroll through ADP PayExpert for Florida personnel and over see the payroll processing of the Georgia locations. Trained Payroll Coordinator for Georgia locations. Integrated and aligned all processing from second merger bringing employee base to over 300. Developed HR management reports for CFO. Major accomplishments: 2005 - Converted time management from Kronos timecards to ADP ezLabor electronic timesheets for hourly employees and set-up time keeping for all salaried personnel; 2006 - integration of four employee handbooks into one comprehensive handbook.
Billing Specialist & HR Coordinator (January 2003 – July 2005)
Payroll processing with Paychex and conversion to ADP PayExpert. Brought all functions of payroll and HR in-house from Paychex PEO creating a functioning HR department. Contributed to the due diligence and subsequent integration from merger, bringing the employee base from 85 to 160. Researched and analyzed employee benefits programs and partnered with senior management to select carriers. Billed customers for recurring maintenance and new product purchases across multiple product lines. Maintained various schedules for unbilled and deferred revenue. Backup to other accounting functions as needed.
Billing Specialist & Staff Accountant (November 2001 – January 2003)
Responsible for all billing to customers, maintaining backlog reports, general ledger postings and financial statements. Created financial reports in FRx Report Writer. Wrote accounting procedures for accounts receivable, cash receipts and general ledger. Established processes for utilizing Great Plains Dynamics efficiently. Maintained all financial analysis schedules. Set up fixed asset schedules. Established and wrote month-end closing procedures. Helped select and then trained Corporate Controller.

Staff Accountant (February 1994 – August 1997)
Weekly in-house Great Plains payroll with piece-work calculations for 350+ employees including federal, state and local taxes. Responsibilities included job-cost expense analysis, accounts receivable, all general ledger entries, schedules of cash requirements, bank reconciliations and balance sheet analysis. Implemented computerized fixed asset system. Conversion from Great Plains DOS to Dynamics version.
