Dear Sir or Madam,
In response to the information provided on your website, I would like to submit my credentials for your consideration as a Survey Crew Chief. I feel my experiences as a professional Land Surveyor In Training, Certified Survey Technician (CST III, Construction) and crew chief, as well as a leader in the military are exactly what is needed to successfully fulfill the obligations of this position.
As stated in my resume, I have seven years of field experience and one year in the office, drafting, doing research, and writing/analyzing legal descriptions. Furthermore, I have institutional land survey training from Dunwoody College of Technology (2003) where I graduated with Honors and I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University (2008) in Edina, Minnesota. My cumulative GPA at graduation was 3.8 (Academic Distinction). I also have leadership training, supervisory experience, and communication and people skills, which will aid at all levels of business operations.
Additionally, my Army and surveying experiences allowed me to develop the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team while under pressure and meeting strict deadlines. Flexibility, adaptability, initiative, and good judgment are essential to the successful work ethic instilled in all military leaders. I have successfully applied these traits to become a reliable, and passionate crew chief.
I look forward to the opportunity of discussing my qualifications with you in person. You may contact me with the above information.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Andrew Lobe
