Duties: Worked as a Journeyman helping on small projects for about a month. Then asked to be a Foreman to manage the new shop build out, approx. Value of 500,000 electrical. Job basically consisted of new service, encilium controlled lighting, new roof top units and controls, office space power for cubicles and office related machinery, video& tel conference rooms, new gym and workout center, commons area and new elevator. This project was mainly a design and build as you go; I also had between 4 and 7 electricians working under me and did all proper as builds, paperwork, material ordering for this project. After completing this job, I was asked if I would be the General Foreman for the new King County Election Facility, approx value of 1.3 million. This was a 6 month job and consisted of a new backup generator and transfer switch, new service conductors and conduit. All new circuitry with some old and new distribution panels, 2 electrical rooms completely moved to new locations, new transformers, new elevator, new roof top units, new and old heat pumps, new office space, and cubicles, new lighting and power poles, new voting machines and equipment, roll up doors, automated gates and security rough-in ( conduit only ) . I had a crew from 7 to 25 with 2 foremen working for me on this project. I was responsible for all planning, material ordering, safety, paperwork and keeping good relations with King County for this project. I then went to work at Weyerhaeuser’s main office in Federal Way, were we pulled out 3 sets and installed 2 sets of underground medium voltage cables in existing vaults in 4 locations that were “Liveâ€. All work was performed safely and as efficiently as possible using proper PPE and safety equipment, sniffers, fans, IR scanners, etc. Reduction in Force layoff, no more work.

From 2004 to 2005 I was responsible for a 5 man crew for the jobsites of Alder, LaGrande, and Cushman Hydroelectric dams. The projects consisted of demolition and rebuilding all there old cranes with new conduit, wire, controls, motors, and frequency drives. I was responsible for the crew, tools and material, and installation. I also was responsible for as building prints and responsible for all paper work and kept good relations with Tacoma City Power.
