Experience
Planned, organized and managed the overall construction of commercial job sites. Responsibilities included blueprint review and analysis of projects, preparation of construction documents, bidding, negotiations, sub-contractor selection, material purchasing, scheduling, project budgets, building code compliance, project development, quality control, and certification of occupancy and warranty closeouts. I supervised crews of up to 300 trade workers daily on a project.

KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
ï¶ Gerald R. Ford International Airport Parking Structure – I was the General Superintendent on this project which was a hard bid GC. This project was fast paced, liquidated damage penalties, multi phased construction consisting of a cast-in-place post tension concrete structure encompassing 4850 parking spaces across four levels and included a helix ramp, light wells, deck cores. The structure features a 660’-0 long by 200’-0 wide by 60’-0 high curved grand canopy skylight structure, sky bridges, terminal cores, transit stations, a vestibule, bus shelters, major road improvements and terminal renovations while being able to keep the airport open and allowing staff and customers to move through the construction zones. The project was 2,000,000 square feet and the cost was $119,500,000.00. The project was started in August, 2007 and was completed on schedule and under budget in October, 2009. The project consisted of over 700,000 man hours and no major injuries.
ï¶ Memorial Medical Center of West Michigan – ED Fast Track Project. This consisted of demolition of a section of the hospital to make way for the new six bed treatment facility. This project was completed in seven weeks and ahead of schedule. This project was part of a $3,000,000.00 Hospital Addition and Renovation.
ï¶ Mason County Central School System – Renovations to the Elementary, Middle and High Schools. The High School had a new gym and addition of several classrooms installed. A new Elementary School was constructed. These projects totaled $17,000,000.00. and was completed ahead of schedule.

ï¶ Wal-Mart #5386 Supercenter – Grand Haven, MI – This project was started in September, 2006 and completed in June, 2007. The store is 186,000 square feet with a cost of $12.0 million. The project was completed on schedule and under budget with a Five Star Rating.
ï¶ Wal-Mart #4243 Supercenter – Clio, MI – This project was started in November, 2005 and completed in August, 2006. The store size is 204,000 square feet with a cost of $12.7 million. The project was completed 30 days ahead of schedule with a $48,000.00 performance bonus and a Five Star Rating.
ï¶ Sam’s Club #6661 – Portage, MI – This project started in July, 2005 and was completed in December, 2005. The project was completed 85 days ahead of schedule with a $147,000.00 performance bonus to the company. The store size is 135,548 square feet with a cost of $8.5 million.
ï¶ Wal-Mart #5411 Supercenter – Ionia, MI – This project was completed on time and was given a Five Star Rating for Quality. This project billed 2.3 million in one month for work performed. The store size is 186,284 square feet with a cost of $8,656,000.00.
ï¶ Wal-Mart #1791 Supercenter – Fremont, MI – This project was completed on time and given a Fire Star Rating for Quality. The store size is 186,356 square feet with a cost of $6,474,000.00 for this project.
ï¶ Wal-Mart #5065 – Oshtemo Township – This project was completed in six months with the highest quality. This project received a Five Star Rating for Quality, the highest rating for a project. The project was completed 30 days ahead of schedule. The size of the store is 152,000 square feet with a cost of $6,250,000.00 for this project.
ï¶ Pennock Hospital State Street Office Medical Building – The construction of this ABC, Award of Excellence building was constructed using a very fast track schedule. The project was completed 30 days ahead of schedule and was a great addition to Pennock’s medical heath services. The project was 14,000 square feet at a cost of $1,772,000.00.
ï¶ Dogwood Center – This is a state-of –the-art theater for the performing arts. This 28,000 square feet complex theater contains a fly tower, orchestra pit, dressing rooms, state, black box theater and seats 420 patrons. This project was $5.8 million.
