As you can see from my resume, I have had the opportunity to work on many projects from large to small, from all areas of Construction. I have been in the field of Construction for 22 years. I have been in Supervisions for well over 15 years. My fields of specialty are as follows: Supervision of large crews in the Divisions of Carpentry, Millwright, Ironwork, Equipment Operation, and Civil in Design/Build, Industrial, and Commercial Establishments. I have had many years experience, troubleshooting in the field of Design/Build. As a result saving time and money for the company has always been my priority on all projects.
My familiarity with all types of Design Drawings has enabled me to excel in many facets of the construction industry. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working with others as a team member. Conoco/Phillips project responsibilities include-
• Safety is #1.
• The most recent project was at ConocoPhillips Oil Refinery, rebuilding a Cat-Cracker and adding 2 new Sulfur Recovery Units from ground up.
• Being one of the first field staff on site, I was in charge of (temporary facilities) all of the logistics, finding and building parking, housing facilities, fuel, misc vendor support, and etc required for job start up.
• Once the project was underway, my responsibilities also included assisting safety, manning the job, scheduling, material mngmt., processing and verifying that everyone comprehends the reps, specs and etc. to help the project run smoothly with 200+ craft (Labors, carpenters, millwrights, ironworkers, teamsters, boilermakers, and electricians) 50 sub-contractors and 84 staff.
This was a construction management project on one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated cement plants ever constructed.
My duties included the managing of four separate sub-contractors on numerous pieces of the project. This was from earthwork to re-steel, pouring concrete to setting structural steel and to the setting of sophisticated equipment.
