Gemcraft Homes is a regional homebuilder operating in five states. Responsibilities included construction strategic planning, budgeting/capital planning, vendor/subcontractor relations, project management, company policies and procedures, and employee performance/development.
Leadership/Management:
• Interfaced regularly with the Division Manager developing the strategic direction of the division to ensure that production and service staffs were aligned to company strategies.
• Developed production and service departments long and short-term goals aligned with corporate initiatives. This action resulted in an increase in the number of customer sign-offs prior to settlement and reduced number of service calls.
• Implemented a customer service program to ensure customer needs were met within the company guidelines, which improved customer survey scores and increased customer referrals.
• Oversaw the day-to-day operations of 9 new home communities ranging in size from 25 to 200 home sites.
