Find a position that will allow me to utilize my skills and experience in Construction Project Management and continue to expand those skills. I like to be involved in all phases of Construction and Engineering Project Management.
I am a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Engineering Technology.
I believe my education and training has provided me with a solid foundation in various applications of established engineering and construction fundamentals, procedures and practices. This foundation has given me a background in the solution of technical, as well as, “outside the box†problems. My degree specialization and experience emphasizes basic civil/structural design and analysis, construction operations, transportation and safety engineering, surveying, cost and materials estimation, planning and scheduling, engineering and construction management as well as a strong background in contracts and subcontracts. I believe my skills can be greatly utilized in areas of Engineering and Construction Project Management.
I have been involved in all phases of the Engineering and Construction Industry for the past 28 years. During that time, I have served as a draftsman for 8 years drafting all types of construction documents including Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil drawings using both manual drafting tools and company owned and operated CADD systems. The remaining 20 years to present, I have served as a Resident Project Representative offering field inspection, quality assurance and field design services, Cost Engineer, Project Planner and Scheduler on numerous multi-million dollar projects in the Petrochemical Industry, Project Administrator/Engineer in the Commercial construction industry for Austin Commercial Inc., and most recently, Director of Subcontracts for CBI USA Operations.
