Initiated approval cycle for HVAC duct structural support attachment. Developed and implemented computer programs using Hewlett Packard portable computer; calculated center of gravity with respect to end edge and center line of embedded support plate for HVAC system. This program reduced calculation time by 80% resulting in substantial savings in man-hours and total cost.

Assisted field engineer with physical and visual pre-design walkdown of systems. After field walkdown, responsible for the design, design modification if needed, and submittal for approval for actual construction of HVAC systems. Utilized hand calculations; developed and implemented unique computer programs for sheet metal layout. Extensive use of portable Hewlett Packard 41 Series computer for design.
