INTRO TO WOODWORKING
In this introductory course I developed the ability to differentiate several types of wood which are used in construction, learned how to use table saws, miter saws, routers, jigsaws and several other power tools. Also in this course, I learned how to install cabinets and countertops, trim, base, crown molding and case work. Additionally I learned how to install door hardware and closures.
INTRO TO DRYWALL
In this introductory course I learned how to frame using medal and wood studs. I also learned how to cut and hang drywall, tape and mud walls. Additionally I developed the skill to layout and install acoustical ceilings and use construction grade lasers.
