Total project responsibilities included engineering, planning and scheduling, cost control, material procurement, subcontracting and construction, client relations and communication.

Managed several projects with $14.5 million budget, For Utilities Department, worked on 50 buildings within three campuses. Raised efficiency and operation of all HVAC systems and coordinated building construction or remodeling. Improved high temp water distribution system from the boiler room by installing new control valves and implemented them to their Bailey process computer system. Replaced over 215 boilers.

Project Coordinator (1986 – 2000)
· Coordinated safety and construction for a new $ 80 million Catalytic Cracker Unit. Project took over 500,000 man/hrs work and with 0 injuries/lost time.
· Coordinated installation of 2 new gas compressors for the Reformer 3 unit, with the new gas seal system and magnetic bearings.
· Implemented new bench- marking concept to track potential problems of daily operations. Prepared presentations and reports for the Board of Directors.
· Defined over 2000 potential items, saving 30% in maintenance and/ or energy costs and created over 1000 new projects to improve technical process units
· Coordinated project activities and construction of new $65 million ‘Total Isomerisation Process’ unit from design to start-up. Unit was first of this kind in Canada. Trained the process technicians and provided technical support. Wrote the procedure manuals. New unit was also the first to be controlled by new process computer Honeywell TDC-3000. Sixteen additional process units were later installed.
Process Operating Engineer/Turnaround Coordinator (1980 – 1986)
· Oversaw process operation of 12 different petroleum process units, optimized the production by minimizing the energy cost as a team leader. Hydro Cracker, Reformer, Total Isomerization, Gas Recovery unit, Desulfurization unit, Naphten and Kerosene unit, Heating oil treater and 5 other type of treatment units.
