Since joining the Carpenters Union and going to work with Skanska I have enjoyed a successful career with over 15 years of experience in Health Care, High Tech and other commercial building projects. I have demonstrated success with a variety of projects in and around the Pacific Northwest through innovative schedule management, cost management and labor management.

1994 – Present Senior Superintendent, Skanska USA Building, Inc.
Began as a field carpenter and quickly earned the respect of my superiors and was brought up to the level of foreman, lead man and finally Project Superintendent in just a few short years. I became a salaried employee in 1999 and have been the project supervisor on 2 hospital expansion projects, a high tech clean room, biomed and computer lab build-outs and several commercial office buildings.
1989 - 1994 Project Supervisor, IHC Japan, a division of Rustol Chemical Ltd., Japan
Acted as liaison between Japanese company and US manufacturer of pre-fabricated homes. Successfully supervised and trained Japanese carpenters in the construction of these projects and coordinated with multiple trades in the finishes.
1981 – 1989 Self Employed, Ramsons Construction
Partial owner and operator of a successful general contracting business in residential construction, responsible for bidding work, managing field operations and day to day business affairs with my partners.

Consultant to Intel for constructability and safety on 600,000 sqft factory, 3 story office building and warehouse facility.
Cascade Station, Portland Oregon
A 2 Story Class A office building built to suit; $12 million, 27,000 sqft steel braced frame structure. This project was built for ITT Tech for secondary education use.
Skylakes Medical Center, Klamath Falls Oregon
A 3 story inpatient care expansion; $44 million, 70,000 sqft concrete shear wall and steel framed structure. Project included 72 inpatient care rooms, 22 short stay rooms, atrium lobby and a healing garden at the 2nd floor. Additional projects included a new ER and Central Utility Plant.
Linear Technology, Vancouver Washington
Build out of shelled clean room space. $17 million, 60,000 sqft of class 10,000 clean room space.
Perkins Coie Law Offices, Portland Oregon
Build out of 4 floors for Class A office space; $15 million, 48,000 sqft consisting of the top 4 floors of a newly constructed shelled building.
Holy Rosary Medical Center, Ontario Oregon
A 3 story medical surgery expansion and ER addition; $35 million, 65,000 sqft with poured in place concrete basement and steel structure above. Project included a new central sterile facility, 3 OR’s and outpatient care.
Kaiser Regional Lab, Portland Oregon
Build out of vacant warehouse to house lab facilities; $22 million 55,000 sqft concrete building. Included biohazard labs, tissue and fluid sampling labs, office and conference rooms and robotic material delivery system.
