Skilled as a Carpenter in all areas, not limited to, rigging, forming, pre-cast, post tension concrete. Framing and Tilt-up construction. Familiar with OSHA regulations pertaining to work sight safety. Skilled as an all terrain 4x4 forklift operator as well as several other types of material handling equipment. Able to read cads/blueprints from all trades. Supervised 25 or more personnel of various trades.
Feb 2003 to Present - Allegheny Construction, and, Mechanical/Bell One Mechanical, Phoenix, Arizona. President, of Company. General Contractor, and HVAC/Refrigeration specialist. Installation of HVAC systems and required duct work, sheet metal etc. All general construction disciplines, fixtures, electrical, plumbing, framing, concrete etc.
October 2002 to Feb 2003- Custom Carpentry, Las Vegas, NV. Foreman. Building of custom homes, and, trim work. Supervised 3 man crew. Responsible for the framing, cornice and roofing, also drywall and the backing for the drywall.
August 2000 to October 2002- Gotham Installations, Huntington, NY, Foreman/Superintendent. Responsible for the installation of Barnes & Noble book stores, Discovery stores, and Hudson Belks department stores. Responsible for specialty rollouts of J.C. Penny’s and Barnes & Noble bookstores. Handled all logistics, daily reporting, as well as payroll, and inventory shortages. Received all fixtures via semi-truck and installed in a period of nine days from unload. Pushed stores in seven days. Supervised twelve carpenters and eight laborers per store. Handled entire layout and worked closely with B&N project managers to make decisions based on the best interest of the store. Installed twelve new B&N stores, nine B&N customer service rollouts and six J.C. Penny customer service rollouts.
June 1999 to August 2001- Russell Construction Co., Conroe, TX, Carpenter/Foreman. Responsible for the installation of Target, Mervyn’s and K-Mart Department stores as a foreman. In charge of the unloading and placement of the store fixtures as delegated by the superintendent. In charge of store layout, and supervision of four carpenters and three laborers. Created a team of select carpenters to bring a store back on budget and on schedule. Promoted to foreman as a result.
March 1999 to June 1999- Yother Construction Management, Cave Creek, AZ, Journeyman Carpenter. Installation of Target stores. Assisted in the layout, and the unloading and placement of the store fixtures. In charge of the installation of specialty fixtures throughout the store. Supervised ten laborers.
March 1994 to March 1999- Self Employed/Sub-Contractor, In charge of two carpenter crews, consisting of six men each. Framing, cornice, roofing, and concrete work in the TPC/Sawgrass area. Most of work valued from 250k to 1 million.
March 1991 to March 1993- Cleaners Equipment Co., St. Petersburg, Fl., Shop/Service Technician. Responsible for the service of dry cleaning plants and installation of equipment associated with the dry cleaning industry. Maintained boiler systems, steam, electrical/electronic, and, pneumatic systems.
January 1989 to March 1991- Dixie Contract Carpet, Jacksonville, FL. Self-Employed contract floor covering installer. Installed carpet, vinyl sheet goods, wood flooring. Installations included 250k-1 million dollar custom homes, as well as commercial buildings. Supervised a crew of three men.
September 1987 to January 1989- Mandarin Manor, St. Augustine, FL., Maintenance Director. 150 bed ACLF and assisted living apartments. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility and grounds of the complex. Reported to the Director and other department heads as needed. Scheduled and maintained PMS documents and other related reports as required by Local/State/Federal requirements.
