Three projects described below are to serve as a supplemental description of work done for WRCL
1. SHICK SUBDIVISION NO. 1, PAGES 1 AND 2 Mahoning Twp., Lawrence Co., PA
On this project, Lot #1 was sold to be a two hundred fifty acre horse racing track and
casino. The adjoining 640 acres to the east and to the south, owned by the Shick family, are part of an aggressive plan with a hotel, water park, condominiums,
units and at least one other entertainment venue.
MY PROJECT PARTICIPATION was as survey party chief for all fieldwork, including final corner sets court-house, G.I.S, PA DOT research, correlating fieldwork and research with CADD tech, and final boundary line and access easement location for plat and future development. Also fieldwork for geodetic control for plat and future 650 acre development.
2. OLIBRYN SUBDIVISION Lots 1-5 East Lackawannock Twp., Mercer Co. PA
Three sign easement surveys for Lamar Sign company, and a plat with 1 commercial
and 4 residential lots for Olibryn, LLC.
MY PROJECT PARTICIPATION was as main client contact, as I met the owners
while doing the sign lease locations and sold the rest of the work, including the
additional 470 acres surrounding Lots 1-5, party chief for all fieldwork including
final corner sets for plat and sign leases, court-house, PA DOT and G.I.S. research,
correlating fieldwork and research with CADD tech, and final boundary line
determinations.
3. SURVEY OF LANDS OF AMBROSIA, Mahoning Twp., Lawrence Twp., PA
An interesting survey for one long time client (in PA) to be sold to another long
time client adjoiner (in OH), with a state line between two different survey systems.
including three state line stone monuments, all called for in PA deeds which have a 0-
08’-03†deflection at the interior monument, and a deed call to the North line of a
strip mine tram way (no longer existing) on the south line of the detailed adjoiner
who agreed with the survey as long as his house was on his property, (by 0.68’)
MY PROJECTION PARTICIPATION included an extensive amount of field of work
for a 100 acre survey, a good deal of courthouse research, and final boundary line
determination and final corner sets
