* 2000-2009 (part time-2009, offices closed) Project Architect and V.P. – Imre Ereg Architects, Inc., Coral Springs, Fla. (8 employees). Hi-rise hotels, commercial buildings (to 24-story high), medical offices, luxury residential, building condition assessment, research of shopping centers and office buildings, design of and renovations to clubhouses with restaurants, to 70,000 sq. ft.). I was on my own mid-2005 to mid-2006 involved in various private projects and hi-rise buildings.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
* 2002-07 – I was lead Architect and chief coordinator for the development of 4 different condominium residential projects for the same developer, Waterways Dev. Corp., in Naples, Fort Myers, and Kissimmee. These projects comprise of over 1,500 residential units, with 4 different clubhouses, with commercial spaces and medical offices in street-front outparcels. I was commended by Owners for the clear and precise documentation produced, and my objective professional and personal approaches to resolve all unforeseen construction issues and matters in the field.
* 1998-99 – I was Project Architect and Construction Administrator, from beginning to closeout, of a 550,000 mixed use retail/ offices/ medical offices, with residential and a 20-screen Regal Cinema, ‘Winter Park Village’, in Orlando, Florida.
* 1993-96 - I led the design team and was field Architect for the full service 260-rm. Quito Marriot Hotel, in Quito Ecuador, S.A. Project had a $30M budget. During the grand opening, I was part of a reception given by the Owners for the successful completion, and the opening of the Hotel in a timely manner.
* 1988-92 - I was chief document and construction coordinator for an $85M Port de Plaisance 250-rm. Sheraton Hotel and Resort, with 1,300 Time Share units in St. Maarten, N. A., traveling to St. Maarten more than 30 times. At the grand opening, Mr. Adache and myself were recognized for the constructed design and coordination processes that resulted in high Owner satisfaction.
* 1992 - During the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew, I volunteered for more than 2 weeks providing Miami-Dade County with damage assessment reports. I received a letter of commendation from the County for my volunteer (vacation) services.

I religiously attend national NAHB shows, and other local product exhibits, to enhance state-of-the-art construction product knowledge and maintain industry vendor contacts. I am also good at and enjoy choir and choral group singing, as a personal creative and rewarding achievement.

EDUCATION
Credits equivalent to AAS in Construction Science in Architecture - Pratt Institute – Brooklyn, N.Y. I elected to seek my Bachelor’s degree, in lieu of an AAS, but personal circumstances in 1969 prevented me from continuing in N.Y. As required for sitting in for the Fla. Professional Architect exams in the late 1970’s, I was decreed a candidate by taking the Florida DPR-approved Architectural equivalency university Degree 7-part exams based on experience, and passed all exams in 1978, at which point I separately took and passed my Professional Florida exams in December 1980. I am competent in AutoCadd ADT(to 2008), as well as Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
GENERAL AND PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVES
As my main objectives, I would bring to you a commitment to initiate and conclude all tasks undertaken, to levels of above-normal success, while resolving on-going problems in the field and communicating resolutions with the client, contractors and sub-contractors. I am very much task-focused and people-oriented, and I strive to work well with employer executives, and younger talented professionals. Working in both national and International environments, I am familiar with multitude of Codes, such as the Uniform building Code, FBC, Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code, SBCC, all the fire codes and International Building Codes. I enjoy comradeship and exchange of ideas with colleagues, especially related to the topics of current concerns of energy conservation, construction sustainability and environmental preservation.
