I’ve enjoyed twenty-one years experience working and walking in the shoes of Architects, General Contractors, Construction Manager and Owner’s Representative. Understanding how each profession and company operates and being able to provide solutions with their best interest in mind is very gratifying and exceeding expectations is even better.
Once jobs are negotiated and contracts are qualified and awarded either based on assumptions during the design phase or after contract documents are issued, the project takes on a life of its own due to: Value Engineering, Substitutions, Identification of gaps between Engineering and Architectural disciplines and this is not to blame anyone – it could be the result of Owner programming issues or funding issues or timing issues needing to execute a contract before a new Code becomes effective, etc. I have experienced various ways of dealing with these issues and understand how to identify scope, discern its hierarchy and anticipate the perspectives and needs of each entity which helps in overcoming challenges. My Objective is to provide leadership to Owners to create efficiencies that allow a project to stay or get back on schedule.
