After the store opened I was in-charge of all assembled items that went out the door including furniture, bikes, grills, snow blowers and everything else you could think of. I was also in charge of all maintenance and up-keep of the entire store.

Duties:
*Trained all floorcoverings personnel in each store in sales, product knowledge, and the installation of all flooring products that Menards carried at that time.
* Developed, coordinated and initiated the hands on installation program for laminate flooring in all stores. Using this tool we installed laminate flooring in new kitchens installed in 153 remodeled stores with in a year period. We also took this program to the next level by installing the flooring in all new stores using Menards Flooring Department and Contractors Department personnel for advanced training.
* Developed, coordinated and initiated the contractor sales ride along and training program. Training the Contractor Representatives in flooring applications and sales of all building materials to contractors.
*Developed, coordinated and wrote the in-home training program for the floorcovering department.
* Developed and coordinated with other department trainers, the program for the pre-built homes. This included the materials lists, measurements and approximate pricing for the materials advertised in the Menards weekly flyer.
* Worked with the Store Construction Department with the layout and blue prints of the kitchens in the remodeled and new stores.
* Coordinated with vendors on specifications of products and training them to be part of the hands on installation program.
