Worked closely with the United States Border Patrol, United States Army Corp of Engineers, Michael Baker Corp. and the United States Army National Guard to construct access roads and border fences for the United States Border Patrol. As an inspector, I oversaw the construction of major intersection improvements for the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. My duties included the monitoring of plans and specifications to insure that the project met with both the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the city of Charlotte's regulations. I reviewed contractor's progress and request for payment applications as well as assisted the project engineer on construction progress meetings. Also, I reviewed traffic control and budget reports and kept as-build drawings and change order requests.
