Coordinate capital and expense construction packages to ensure that all the packages on the turnaround scope were accounted for and the contractor has submitted estimates and schedules. Oversee construction projects to ensure contractor is complying with Koch standards and NEC. Resolve turnaround productivity issues for both construction and maintenance. Track contractor and maintenance schedule update for accuracy.

Distribute work orders to each craftsman and resolve any issue. Order material need for maintenance activities. Inventory all operating equipment to produce a list all electrical and instrument spare parts needs and have them set up in the warehouse. Work with the planner scheduler for manpower loading and coordination of activities for turnarounds.

Electrical and Instrument Designer – Responsibilities on this DCS and Fuel Gas conversion project are to locate all pneumatic instruments and valve that were going to be converted too electronic and verify that the existing spec sheets were correct before the new spec sheets was written and the instrument purchased. Make all demo and new drawings, loop sheets, one lines, schematics, and support drawings. After completion of design my duties changed to follow up with construction. When loop check and function testing started duties reassigned to help the check out team.

WOLFENSON ELECTRIC – HOUSTON, TX
Electrical and Instrument Supervisor – Required to manage contract maintenance and capital project work, both electrical and instrumentation Process Control Systems. Capital projects included installation of Fisher Provox DCS system to replace exiting pneumatic and AC squared controlled instrumentation. Responsibilities on the installation of a DCS system included create loop sheets, support drawings and supervise construction. Other capital projects included WasteWater Striper, Finishing Dryer renovations, CP Refining Tower, Maleic Reconstruction and Plant Emergency Generator system. This five-year role also included numerous small and maintenance projects for Process Control Engineering. Specific activities include, working directly with engineering, project reports, loop checks calibrations, and system documentation. Average personnel under my supervision over five year period were 15.
KANECKA POLYMER PLANT - (1986 TO 1987)
WOLFENSON ELECTRIC – HOUSTON, TX
Electrical and Instrument Supervisor – Build a new Polymer plant from the ground up. This project required installation of 13.2 kV switchgear, 2400vac starters, 480vac mcc, control room, UPS system and DCS system. The process had approximately 45 motors and 500 instruments. Specific activities include keeping within the estimate, tracking progress, project reports and make manpower decisions on where people were needed to comply with the schedule.
