As the supervisor my duties were to create budgets from minimal information. Responsible for implementing effective job procedures. Responsible for sourcing, ordering and tracking project materials. Conducted initial contact to customer for each project to understand the customer views and give my guidance to the construction project and review and revised any blue prints or layouts of the project from start to finish. Supervise and coordinate all sub-contractors, welders/fitter, carpenters, roofers, concrete, equipment operators, fabricators steel type, and vendors for all construction project, made sure that all sub's contractor were well qualified for each phrase of the projects and at times there would be multiple project going at the same time. Prepare the estimating, scheduling and compare cost to various contractor and vendors to ensure the profits were to be available for the company, the responsibility was mine to pay out payroll and to ensure the monies were to be available for purchases of material. Constant was available to ensure that my guidance of how the projects plans were going to schedule. With my excellent skill of leadership I was very effective interaction with workforce, customers.subcontractors and other general contractor. Had a proven track record in having a successful rewards in the negotiations bids process of each project I had a very high percent of closing the contracts. Due to my ability to always to think positive and react to quick problem solving my project were not delay from due dates of completions date. The Houston Metro Rail Systems, I interacted and build very good relationships with the city inspectors, Metro Management, and architects on a re-construction project that I was given to complete in a very short period down time to the rail and bus systems, I was able to save thousands of dollars to the project and minimum cost to the Metro System. My duties Begin as a welder/fitter within a short period of time I was moved to leadman welder/fitter of the all fabrications of the offshore related platforms,coolers/heater exchangers, pipe fitted. My duties was to supervise , welders, fitters, riggers, pipe insulators, crane operators, painters, sand blaster, general laborers.
