I am sending my letter and resume’ in an effort to contribute to your firms continued growth and future.
Allow me to explain my availability. My former company was Challenge Constructors of Portsmouth, VA.
Recently the owner, Mr. Dave Powers passed away leaving his 33 year old company to his son. His son chose to close the company in lieu of continuing to serve the commercial/light industrial building community. The employees affected ranged in years of service from 20 to 32 years. I have been dedicated to Mr. Powers for 27 years. His philosophy was simple, live and serve with honesty and integrity in all that you do in this life. It has been a blessing to have known and worked with this man.
Being from a commercial/light industrial design builder, I feel I will easily transition into your system. I have represented Mr. Powers numerous times in meetings with clients, in preparing proposals and estimates, budgets and schedules, along with the writing of specifications and contracts under the leadership of some the best in the commercial business. Challenge Constructors was a leader in design/build projects representing Butler pre-engineered steel buildings. As a leader in the industry we were chosen as the number One builder in the southeast region of the US in 2007. This is something I take great pride in being a part of.
As a part of your team, I can and I will bring with me my honest and direct approach to jobsite leadership and direction. Upon your request I can produce many satisfied clients and references.
I look forward to seeing and meeting with you about what I can add to your company and it’s future.
Sincerely:
Richard L. Simpson
