Managed full-lifecycle activities of over 1000 mid- and large-sized construction projects. Managed all office and field operations. Maintained key coordinating & support role with sales team. Ultimately responsible for transition between captured sales and the planning, management & execution of resulting projects. Led or executed all material ordering and scheduling of cement and carpenter crews. Designed a work order system still used today. Apprentice & Lead Carpenter 1978-1982
As apprentice carpenter on small standing structures, progressed to Foreman, managing an independent crew within first year. Consistently noted for compelling speed, accuracy & ability to instill the same in a team. Developed new building systems which became standard company procedures; adopted by even the most experienced carpenters. First to use & introduce nail guns. Resulted in enterprise-wide implementation one year later with similarly fundamental increase in corporate productivity.
