Design-Build construction of a 7,200 sf office/shop building with 3+ acre yard and (2) ~80,000 sf multi-tenant concrete tilt-up single story buildings. Directed all pre-construction, estimating, design-build subcontractors (M.E.P.) and project management from inception through completion of project.
Project Manager/Estimator JB Olsen Construction Sacramento, CA (2004 – 2007)
Marquez Brothers Distribution Warehouse, Sacramento, CA $7.4 Million: 5.2-acre site with 89,000 sf concrete tilt-up food distribution warehouse and offices. Warehouse included 6,000 sf refrigeration unit and ESFR high-flow fire suppression sprinkler system. Class A office tenant improvement; included high grade entry lobby, executive office suites and entertainment suite. Directed all pre-construction, estimating, design-build subcontractors (M.E.P.) and project management from inception through completion of project.
F-Street Commerce Center, West Sacramento, CA $7.2 Million: 5.8-acre site with 158,000 sf of industrial concrete tilt-up warehouses (3 buildings) incorporating “Geo-Pier†foundation stabilization method. Directed all pre-construction, estimating, design-build subcontractors (M.E.P.) and project management from inception through completion of project.
Sierra Vista Office Complex, Rocklin, CA $6.8 Million: 2.8-acre site with (3) single story wood framed and (1) two-story concrete tilt-up office buildings. Directed all pre-construction, estimating, design-build subcontractors (M.E.P.) and project management from inception through completion of project.
Senior Estimator S. D. Deacon Corporation Sacramento, CA (1999 – 2004)
Sam’s Club, Regency Plaza, Citrus Heights, CA $8.1 Million: Complete redevelopment of an existing 12-acre site including demolition, reconstruction of existing retail structures and new ground-up 133,296 sf Sam’s Club store and retail shop buildings. Performed all pre-construction, estimating, subcontractor/supplier contracts as well as buyout and project management support.
Kohl’s Department Store, Pleasanton, CA $5.2 Million: Lead Estimator on this negotiated 95,000 sf concrete tilt-up building. Responsibilities included coordination and evaluation of all subcontractor/supplier bid proposals and compilation into a complete bid proposal package.
Cordova Village Shopping Center, Rancho Cordova, CA $9.2 Million: Lead estimator on this negotiated renovation/reconfiguration of an existing 10-acre site plus new ground-up construction of a 122,275 sf Wal-Mart and a 55,563 sf Safeway grocery store. Directed coordination and evaluation of all subcontractor/supplier bid proposals and compiled them into a complete bid proposal package.
Superintendent McCarthy Construction Sacramento, CA (1998 – 1999)
Responsible for field coordination of retail projects up to $2.5 million. Projects completed: Michaels Art Supplies, (2) shop buildings and a Food Source grocery store.
Project Manager J.A. Komar Construction Sacramento, CA (1996 – 1998)
Responsible for the execution of all project specific management duties typically assigned to a Project Manager, Construction Manager and/or Contracts Administrator. The contracts performed were public works, specializing in public schools, critical hardships, and modernization projects.
