Las Vegas Convention Center Expansion – Las Vegas, NV
Senior Interior Design Manager - Main responsibilities included managing multiple project interior design teams for
multi-phase simultaneous deadlines. Management of multiple teams consisted of interior designers, lighting designer,
mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineers, technology consultant and signage & graphic and food service consultants.
Coordination of these design team members required on-going interface with the owner. Services encompassed 3.8
million SF of space and focused on enhancing the existing facility throughout, expansion of meeting facilities, site
improvements, sustainable design and an improved user experience.
Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, Office Renovation - St. Louis, MO
Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager - This 210,000 SF multi-level office renovation has successfully fulfilled
client’s goal to create a new environment for the end users. The renovation construction activities occurred while the
building was occupied. Phased construction with tight schedules worked closely with the client plan their moves over a 9
month period.
Michigan Stadium Expansion, University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, MI
Senior Interior Designer - This $225-million renovation and expansion project of the historic Michigan Stadium included
additional seating capacity, new fan amenities, restrooms, concessions, club seating, club spaces and private suites.
The stadium is currently under construction and the facility will be completed for 2010 football season.
Johnson County Administration Building Expansion - Olathe, KS
Senior Interior Designer - The 200,500 SF expansion included a state-of-the-art conference center for all county
employees, pre-function spaces; a new food court serving employees as well as the public. The construction activities
occurred while the building was occupied. Worked with client to determine and manage move sequence during the 15-
month construction schedule.
Port Authority Security Operation Center Expansion - New Jersey
Senior Interior Designer - The expansion included a mission control center, open and private offices, a conference
center and other support spaces for the Port Authority. The 10-month design phase included schematic design, design
development and construction document. The Port Authority moved into the expanded facility on schedule and within
budget as planned.
Traffic Management Center, New Jersey Turnpike Authority – Woodbridge, NJ
Lead Interior Designer - The 185,000 SF project incorporated complex, technological requirements, a statewide
highway data center, a 25’ x 150’ wide video wall and sustainable design standards which include photovoltaic. The
building’s hub is a double-height operations floor surrounded by support offices and a video conference facility.
Kinnick Stadium Expansion, University of Iowa – Iowa City, IA
Lead Interior Designer - The $84-million stadium expansion project featured a new press box along with 47 private
suites, a private 100-seat indoor club, a private 1,150-seat outdoor club and a catering kitchen. Work closely with the
senior management group in the Athletic Department on master planning, design phases, and construction
administration phase.
John Paul Jones Arena, University of Virginia – Charlottesville, VA
Lead Interior Designer - This new 15,000 seat basketball arena also serves as an event venue for the university. The
365,000 SF facility has 20 luxury suites, two club lounges, and new concourses with fan amenities such as restrooms,
concessions and retail spaces. It is also an academic support facility, the arena houses a new academic center and
dining hall for the student athletes. In addition, it provides multiple NBA-level basketball practice courts, training
facilities, locker rooms, and new offices for the men’s and women’s basketball programs.
Rentschler Field, University of Connecticut – East Hartford,CT
Lead Interior Designer - Work for the new 38,500 seat football stadium for the University of Connecticut entailed
schematic design through construction phase. The building accommodates football, soccer, concert and other events for
the university and the City of East Hartford, Connecticut. The new 595,596 SF facility has 40 luxury suites, 700 indoor
club seats, and various sponsorship and hospitality zones. New athlete locker rooms and training facility are also bonus
features of the facility.
Autzen Stadium Expansion, University of Oregon – Eugene, OR
Lead Interior Designer - Responsible for the planning through construction phase of this stadium expansion project.
12,000 additional seats were added to the existing stadium, 32 new luxury suites and two private club lounges with 3,200
outdoor club seats were also the premium amenities for the expanded stadium. The success of the design was vital for
the UO athletic department to reach its goal to become self-funded. It received the award of Excellence in Design for
Large Public Project of Northwest Construction in 2003.
KPMG, Phoenix Trust Tax Office – Phoenix, AZ
Lead Interior Designer - New office space included 168 workstations, 52 private offices, new conference rooms, and
staff support spaces. The new office space to accommodate the current staff of 172 and 48 workstations and offices for
future growth.
Blue Rhino – Winston-Salem, NC
Lead Interior Designer - The new 18,000 SF office featured a patio-like with nature theme showroom to display latest
company product lines. The new office has180 workstations, 38 private office, new conference rooms, and staff support
spaces to meet current and future growth. Project design development and documentation completed in 5 months and
construction was completed in 6 months to meet the tight move-in schedule.
Fleishman-Hillard Office Expansion – Kansas City, MO
Lead Interior Designer - The public relations company’s office expansion. 26,000 SF of new office space included a
new display area of firm’s history and achievements, a new executive floor with 15 private offices, and a new employee
hospitality area. The new executive floor is completed in 8 months from design to end of construction phase.
Fairmont Hotel Sky Lounge Renovation - Kansas City, MO
Lead Interior Designer - The lounge was redesigned to meet the current needs of hotel guests, amenities include: a
concierge area, two bars with 50 seating, two private seating rooms with private bars seats 20 in each. Interior was
redesigned with trendy finishes and furnishing to create the modern aesthetic that compliment rest of the hotel. Project
construction value is approximately $1.2 million.
Qwest Field, Home of Seattle Seahawk and Sounders - Seattle, WA
Project Designer - This new 1,500,000 SF stadium had 100 luxury suites, 2 club lounges, 2 full service restaurants, and
athlete locker rooms and training facilities. It connects to the new convention center and parking garage. The project
was part of the downtown capitol improvement and revitalization effort.
