Worldwide Project Controls Planner/Cost Specialist
Responsible for the Integrated Marine Schedule (IMS) containing all Global’s projects, dry-dockings, vessel upgrades, future prospects (restricted distribution) and diving services.
Responsible for IMS weekly consolidation from worldwide schedulers and its distribution to worldwide management and other stakeholders.
Developed various formats/layouts for the IMS distribution to facilitate effective management decisions on the utilization of worldwide marine vessels and enabled PMs to better execute projects from contract award through completion.
Initiated standardized s-curves for all Global’s projects by WBS elements, showing “progress weighting†to establish a percentage complete analysis relevant to all aspects of work scope.
Responsible for Global’s “Dry-docking weekly progress report†that included; baseline schedules, s-curves, current budget with actual costs, changes and submitted to Project Management.
Provided direct support and advice to Drydock PMs regarding cost and schedule trends, opportunities and risks while indirectly reporting to the Director of Project Controls.
Coordinated with Dry-dock team on the projects supported to ensure transparency and accuracy of information between Drydocks and Project team.
Converted project schedules from MS Project to P5 and from P3 to P5.
