A national construction company with divisions in industrial, heath care, hospitality and general commercial construction.
Project: University of Utah Hospital Expansion - $100 Million addition
Superintendent
Responsible for the completion of the 3rd and 4th floors of patient rooms with nurses stations.
Started the back-up boiler plant that will in the future be the main boiler plant for the addition it is associated with.
Coordinated subcontractors activities with the other superintendents involved on the project to make sure schedule could be maintained on the upper floors.

Project: Con-Way Freight Facility La Salle, IL- $18+ Million New Freight Activity Center
Coordinated the completion of a 1301' long loading dock with 226 bay doors and full office facility.
Assumed responsibility for the entire 60 acre site, fuel island, maintenance shop, dock and office after substantial completion and assisted Con-Way Freight in opening the largest ground up project they had under taken.
Assumed the responsibilities of keeping the schedule up to date through coordination with the other Superintendent on site.
Dealt directly with the design team during the construction phase and after the owner had moved into the facility to correct design issues and implement any changes into the master set of drawings for Con-Way Freight.

Project: Draper Design Center - $600,000 Infrastructure
Assisted in bid comparison to ensure the complete scope was bid and that all pricing was accurate and fair.
Wrote the scopes of work for all the under ground and concrete for the project.
Coordinated the installation of the under ground utilities with replacement of a 6†high pressure to 12†high pressure gas line with Questar to avoid conflicts and ensure cooperation and safety for all contractors involved.
Project: Cerro Copper, Cedar City Utah $7 mill addition
Assistant Superintendent
Assumed all the duties and responsibilities of a superintendent for coordination, quality control, scheduling after replacing the Superintendent.
Coordinated with the owner and their subcontractors/suppliers for the installation of the proprietary equipment that Cerro Copper had designed and ordered.
Managed the commissioning of the cooling tower.
All work was completed inside of an existing operating facility and the new work could not interfere with the day to day operations of the facility.

Collaborated with management and vendors on the operational and maintenance issues of on site mechanical units.
Saved the company approximately $45K by controlling sub-contractor change orders.
Responsible for the coordination and on site scheduling of the finish contractors.
Project: Prestonwood Country Club - $20+ million addition/ renovation.
(A well renowned country club that hosts all of the major PGA Tours)
Foreman
Started as a carpenter helping in the installation of all in house rough carpentry
Coordinated directly with the General Superintendent to insure that all in-house work and certain subcontractors work was completed according to the owner’s satisfaction.
Achieved foreman status after 6 months
Dealt directly with the local building inspector and sub-contractors to insure code items were correct.
