A position in the development, design or construction departments of a world class construction and/or development firm where my management, design, construction and architectural skills can be used to create the highest quality projects.
My twenty plus years of experience have provided me the opportunity to work on many varied and complex projects throughout the Western United States. In the past few years I have been involved in several hotel / resort projects in Southern California, Arizona, Washington and Utah. These projects have ranged from rebranding / addition and remodel projects to planning and designs for multi-million dollar resort developments.
This work has me very excited about continuing my career working on larger scale projects and I have focused my studies and continuing education to that end. I keep abreast of the latest trends in designs that exceed expectations, while at the same time are sensitive to local conditions, environmentally sustainable and make use of the latest appropriate technologies.
Skills & experience can provide include: 1) Professional inspection and documentation of existing properties. 2) Preparation of the highest quality designs, plans and construction documents for new construction, addition, remodel, preservation and rebranding projects. 3) Third party review of plans prepared by others to assure compliance with franchiser, owner, building code and governmental requirements. 4) Assistance in obtaining entitlements necessary to obtain building permits. 5) Comparative analysis of materials, systems and construction techniques to provide the most cost effective building and energy conservation strategies. 6) Preparation of cost estimates and schedules to assist in feasibility studies and contractor negotiations. 7) Preparation of plans and specifications for F. F. & E. packages. 8) Construction supervision to monitor contractor payment requests, submittals and schedules to assure contract compliance, value and quality control.

SUMMARY
Twenty plus years experience on new construction and remodeling projects with five years of direct involvement with hospitality related projects. Over fifteen years as a managing partner and principal.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Management of hundreds of projects using a variety of construction types with a wide array of aesthetic, functional, time and budgetary requirements. Provided team leadership for clients, consultants, contractors and employees.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
Supervised an office with a staff of nine persons including clerical, drafting and architectural professionals. Coordinated work of consultant teams consisting of more than 100 persons.
DESIGN
Responsible for hundreds of project designs from concept through completion. Projects have been published in the local media and on the internet.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
Implemented office networking, drafting and detailing standards. Developed C.S.I. master format specifications. Developed graphic standards for F.F.& E. applications.
CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION
Managed contractor R.F.I.'s, payment requests, submittals and construction schedules to assure contract compliance, value and quality control.
URBAN & MASTER PLANNING
Work for government agencies, developers and builders includes: resorts, marinas, school campuses, residential sub-divisions, office parks and urban infill projects.

20 plus years as Project Architect, Partner and Principal of a mid-sized architectural firm. Responsible for all aspects of the firm from marketing to clients, project designs from concept to
completion, managing office staff, directing consultants, job costing and financial accounting.
Architectural Homes of Idaho, 1996-1999
Development of two residential tracts included planning, financing, platting, permitting and utility installation. Construction of 20 homes included establishing budgets and timelines, financing, permitting and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
C.S.W. Architects, 1986-1988
Management responsibilities similar to A P & D Group. Specialized experience included investigation, documentation and restoration documents conforming to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation (10 buildings at three separate sites). Multifamily inspection services, third party review and certification of projects designed and built by others. Certifications were used by Owners and others to verify accuracy of construction documents and to assure the contractor and materials used were in compliance with the documents. Performed Fair Housing Act and A.D.A. inspections on more than 60 multi-family housing projects in several western states to verify compliance with regulations. Provided designs and budgets for mitigation when projects were not up to standards.
