NORTHWEST CONSTRUCTION COMPANY: Reports to Owner. Oversight management of Northwest Construction’s Multifamily projects to ensure that each project is staffed appropriately and that budgets and schedules are met. Ensure that total scopes of services are performed in accordance with construction documents and that policies and procedures are executed with strict adherence to safety and quality. Provide expertise and technical support to other members of the project team and serve as a senior technical advisor to assist in resolution of complex construction issues. Develop and maintain relationships with the owner, architect, and subcontractors.
VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION (2002 – 2007)
MERCEDES HOMES OF TEXAS: Reported to Division President. Responsibilities included Annual Plan/Budget preparation, training and managing construction and warranty personnel and development and implementation of new processes. Accountable for construction budget and time, customer satisfaction, safety and cost reductions. Managed up to four Production Managers, 24 Field Managers and four administrative people. Decreased cycle times by 14%.. Cut Variance costs more than 40%. Increased JD Power Ranking from 35th to 10th

PARAGON CUSTOM HOME GROUP: Reported to Owner/President.
D.R. Horton sold its Pensacola Division to the Division President. Increased responsibilities to include financial liaison with banks.
PRODUCTION MANAGER (1996 –2000)
D. R. HORTON: Reported to Division Manager. Responsible for start up of new division’s construction in Pensacola, FL. Duties included purchasing/estimating, customer service, hiring of Project Managers, development of product and neighborhood standards, safety programs and all aspects of the construction practices initiated in the division. Managed six Project Managers in eight subdivisions.
SR. PRODUCTION MANAGER (1995 - 1996)
HENRY COMPANY HOMES: Reported to Vice President of Operations. Responsible for identifying and implementing quality standards, specifying consistent production methods, development of contractor contracts, scopes of work and partnering efforts. Managed two Production Managers, nine Superintendents and seven Assistant Superintendents.
PRODUCTION MANAGER (1993-1995)
CENTEX HOMES: Reported to the Division President. Responsible for training Project and Field Managers, setting budgets, reviewing contracts, establishing manpower projections, setting community standards, reviewing new plans, new community acceptance from land development and partnering with contractors.
PROJECT MANAGER (1992 - 1993)
CENTEX HOMES: Reported to Production Manager. Managed three to four Field Managers. Responsible for maintaining budgets, reviewing job status to assure timely closings, maintaining neighborhood standards and appearance and recruiting new trade partners. Communicated with sales and selection center to assure accuracy of options. Walked homes with Field Managers to train and correct procedures.
