My most unique and elaborate undertaking was managing part of a retrofit project for the largest privately owned yacht in the US (1998) named the Limitless. It is 310 feet long and cost 300M in the 1980’s.
The owner was the CEO of the GAP and the Limited.
This was a massive undertaking and all work was done dockside at a prestigious hotel in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Working under the senior project manger and yacht engineer, I was able to observe and learn techniques about project managing for the most discriminating of clients. The four-month budget was 14M.
