SELECTED PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Developed, as the POC for the NASA MSFC PMIC COTR, the first Mission Peculiar Equipment Development Plan. Analyzed contractual and FAR requirements and developed a schedule divided into segments for design process and hardware development processes. Developed plans placing focus on near-term goals. Implemented sign-off documents as a mechanism for establishing, monitoring and integrating IPT elements, The plan included negotiated vendor and supplier delivery plans. Result: Reduced issues between hardware and design IPTs, allowing deliveries to be made on time.
Single handedly captured the subcontract for the hardware design and development of the control system for a 2.5 THz Laser Local Oscillator Subcontract to DeMaria Electro Optical Systems, Inc (DEOS), a JSC contractor. Space based experiment currently flying on a satellite in a polar orbit. Self trained in radiation hardening. Developed the ISO documentation on this project for TBE’s first ISO Certified Contract. Result: Delivered the components, sub assemblies and special test equipment for integration at DeMaria Electro Optical Systems on time and within budget.
Developed graphics for the operations and maintenance plans for electronic boxes utilized in an EXPRESS Rack used on the International Space Station. Analyzed available documents replaced drawings with digital photos and utilized OCR Software to reproduce text and graphics into a new document. Result: Reduced volume of text while increasing document usability.
Created facility requirements and operating procedures for the 100K Class clean room developed for the assembly and integration of subsystems on the Mission Peculiar Equipment Support Structure (MPESS). Defined design parameters and developed operating procedures for facility operation. Result: Improved company capability to assemble hardware and subsystems ready to be introduced into the level of cleanliness required at customer facility.
