All work was as stated above, no need to repeat here, but to add that I also received experience as a Job Supervisor for the General Contractor as I was also the Job Supervisor on two Starbucks Coffee Shops and on two McDonalds Restaurants as well as Plumbing all of them for the company.
11/1998 to 9/2001- Self employed, owner of Casino Plumbing & Heating, started in Pueblo, Colorado. I was Master Plumber/business owner/bidder, but also worked in the field. This proved to be more of a challenge than I had hoped. I dissolved the company and sold it.
10/1996 to 11/1998 – Walker Hicks Piping, Colorado Springs, Colorado – I was a project foreman. My duties were to coordinate plumbing scheduling with the other trades, I laid out all plumbing from blueprints, oversaw incoming supplies, I operated all of the heavy equipment for the plumbers. The projects I worked on included a Super Wal-Mart in Trinidad, the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs and a medical office center in Woodland Park, Colorado where I ran 10†and 12†water mains to the building and piping inside the building.
6/1995 to 10/1996 – John Bowman, Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado – I was a journeyman plumber/job supervisor. My duties were to design plumbing systems and sewage systems and to supervise the plumbing installation for projects such as the Officers Cabin/Dance Hall project at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. I also worked installing 2 steam generators and was in charge of all piping requirements on the Air Force Academy itself. I engineered some sewer ejection work at Falcon Air Base and worked on the 10†and 12†water mains there.
5/1994 to 6/1995 - Frontier Mechanical, Colorado Springs, Colorado – I was a journeyman plumber/plumbing foreman. I ordered all plumbing materials used and oversaw shipment of same.
2/1992 to 5/1994 - Fenton Plumbing & Heating, Colorado Springs, Colorado – I was a crew foreman. I supervised a crew and installed plumbing on custom homes, track homes and various small commercial jobs. I worked on a dentist’s office and small restaurants such as Taco Bell. I obtained my journeyman’s license working for Fenton Plumbing & Heating.
1/1991 to 2/1992 - Cobb Mechanical, Colorado Springs, Colorado – I was a plumbing apprentice. I worked on plumbing on the prison in Penrose, Colorado and the prison in Canon City, Colorado.
Robert’s experience covers dealing with maintenance issues spanning his entire career. His Hydronics heat experience is vast. He has installed piping for medical institutions specifically, the water main at the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO and sewer and water piping and gas piping in the same building. He has also done this same job at the St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. He also installed the fuel gas system, domestic waters – hot and cold – water chiller lines and the dialysis system in it’s entirety for a 38,000 sq. ft. Dialysis Center facility in Lamar, CO as owner of his own business.
Robert is interested in moving permanently to Alaska because he visited this great state two years ago and cannot get the vastness and beauty out of his mind. He is attracted to the wilderness and his wife, who has previously lived in Alaska, feels the same way. Robert feels that this move is a good decision for his whole family.
