Inventory Manager- (8/03 – 12/08) served as Project Manager of 3 person team for 18 months during research, purchase and implementation of new business system software (Microsoft Navision Attain), maintain accurate inventory cost records, prepare and publish month and year end inventory reports, supervised plant foreman in monthly, quarterly annual physical inventories.
Purchasing Manager- (8/03 – 12/08) managed purchasing of all production materials, vendor and contract negotiation; attend industry trade shows and events (NPCA, World of Concrete, IDOT and ISTHA events).
Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator- (6/01 – 8/03) managed the sourcing and purchasing of all production materials, negotiate terms, facilitate product quotes for Estimator and Sales Manager, prepare and publish financial reports, facilitate and manage 15 million dollar production schedule, coordinate with Sales to develop forecasts and production plans, researched, designed and implemented OSHA approved safety program, provide administrative support to Operations Manager and Plant Manager, assisted Dispatcher to coordinate freight for precast products. Sourcing Specialist/Sr Production Planner-total purchasing responsibility 15 million: manage all aspects of the sourcing process including locating and qualifying suppliers, obtain samples, negotiate terms, audit production to ensure adherence to product specifications and production schedules, ensure material availability and plant capacity, plan and evaluate corporate strategic planning to ensure attainment of production and profit goals, coordinate with Sales & Marketing to monitor forecasts and production plans to further develop and drive sales.
