• This was three floors of public space that included retail point of sale areas, a complete dinning hall facing 5th. Ave., and two circular bar/lounge areas.
• 14’ doors and shutters along with an extensive metal and glass package were some challenging obstacles to overcome. I enjoyed working with architect Tony Chi.
MGM/ Perini Construction - City Center in Las Vegas, NV for $ 5.6 million
• A Seafood restaurant with a 20’x 4’ bar top constructed from one harvested cherry tree plus various architectural metal elements hanging from the ceiling added a degree of difficulty.
• A Steakhouse restaurant with cow imprinted glass entrance panels and a steer shaped cut-out in the decorative wall panels over radius banquets.
• All green building and LEED accredited polices were complied with.
Marriott inc. - The Marriott Mascone in San Francisco, CA for $ 1.7 million.
• A convention center that consisted of 9 ballrooms and a public circulation area.
• My idea to make complete millwork partitions in lieu of steel studs and drywall clad with millwork was the selling point that lead to the work being awarded.

Glenn Rieder Inc. - Milwaukee, WI 07’ to Present
Performed work as an estimator on million dollar architectural projects. Tasks included accurate and detailed scope take-offs, with the completion of RFQ documentation from sub-contractors and material vendors. I developed productive team building relationships with engineering, shop floor, and operations to quantify potential value engineering. I preformed a risk assessment based on past experience to mitigate corporate loss. I completed the process by drafting the final proposal with inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications. The output of my scope of work was used to assign a WBS with labor and material budgets.
