I am a Construction Engineering and Management student at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. I am in my final semester and will be graduating in May 2010. I wish to start working as a construction manager as soon as possible. I have had previous work experience in a small architectural firm. Since it was a small firm, I was given a lot of responsibility and I have had the experience of doing not just architectural work but also interacting with project managers, supervisors and vendors. I have also been involved in some estimating work, and have learnt about the overall process and various operations that are involved not only on the construction site, but also in the office.
I am a punctual, dedicated, responsible and hard working individual. Having worked in an architectural firm, I have dealt with people at all levels of construction work. I also have good Autocad and Primavera (P3) skills. I am a quick learner and I am good at management related work, which is required for this job.I am also in the process of getting my LEED GA certification.
