An innovative, yet pragmatic Project Manager offering a broad range of experience that focus’ on project profits from start to finish and allows the completion of projects on time and within budget. A broad range background includes both General and Mechanical Contractor expertise managing projects from preconstruction through post-construction close-out. Skill set includes estimating, budget development, scheduling with critical paths identification, scope development, contract buyout, submittal review and approval, equipment/material procurement, and project and cost tracking. Experience also includes providing cost estimates for change orders, and developing energy conservation measures for projects that allow customers to capture available utility rebates. Lead weekly construction and project meetings with Architects, Owners and subcontractors and lead applicable weekly safety “tool†box meetings covering topics associated with work in progress at the time meetings are being held.
Market segments include Schools, Religious, Commercial, Telecommunication, Utility, Hi-tech, Semiconductor, Healthcare, and Industrial projects. Project scopes have encompassed new ground up buildings, fast track TI/Building remodels, mechanical (chiller, boiler, and AHU replacement & retrofit), LEED and DDC Controls. Projects have been executed through CM[at]Risk, design build and hard bid contracts.

CONCORD GENERAL CONTRACTING, INC.
-Project Manager May 2008 to Present
Responsible for the execution of projects from preconstruction to close-outs for new, TI/Remodel and retrofit projects in the commercial, healthcare, hi-tech school and religious markets. Projects range from new core/ground up construction to the extensive demolition, TI/Retrofit and remodeling of buildings. Duties include estimating, budget development, scheduling with critical paths identification, scope development, contract buyout, submittal review and approval, equipment/material procurement, and project and cost tracking. Duties also include monthly budget forecasts and leading project meetings with field personnel, Owners, and Architects. Project sizes have ranged from $1.5 to $12 million dollars.
ADOLFSON & PETERSON CONSTRUCTION, INC.
-Project Manager January 2006 to May 2008
Responsible for the management of new and retrofit construction projects including ground up school facilities and commercial buildings. Projects have ranged from a new school District Office Complex (maintenance & admin buildings and new fueling station), high-tech classroom buildings and a new Culinary Arts Building. Job responsibilities included budget development and tracking, scope and contract negotiation, and management of field personnel. Project sizes have ranged from $3 million to $42 million dollars. Each projects dealt with 20 to 30 subcontractors managing contracts and tracking costs. Winner of 2006 Corporate “Unsung Hero†Award for exceptional work on difficult projects.
YORK INTERNATIONAL
-Project Manager/Project Engineer August 2002 to January 2006
Responsibilities included the management of new and retrofit turn-key HVAC and DDC Control projects. Systems installed included chilled-water, cooling towers, boilers, air distribution, unitary commercial products, and DDC Controls. Coordinated and worked directly with hi-tech, manufacturing and industrial companies, as well as, Architects and Mechanical and Electrical engineering companies. York took on the role of a General Contractor and subcontracted with Mechanical and Electrical subcontractors for these projects. Responsibilities included negotiating and managing subcontracts, submittals, tracking costs, project cost forecasting and payment coordination. Responsibilities required management of multiple projects concurrently ranging in size range from $550,000 to $3,000,000.
JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. January 1999 to July 2002
- Sales Engineer – DDC Controls/Fire Life Safety Systems
Key responsibilities involved the expansion of existing and new accounts in the telecommunication, utility, hi-tech, healthcare, semiconductor and industrial marketplaces. Directed major account teams consisting of operations and engineering personnel to expand key account penetration. This strategic focus lead to increased sales of 20% over an 18-month period. Customer contact involved relationships at senior executive levels as well as prospecting and negotiating contracts with purchasing, legal, and plant/facility managers.
