I have worked in the Civil Engineering 'Land Development' industry for the past 34 years. During the past 25 years I have been responsible for the conceptual and final design of Grading plans, Street Imp, Sewer, Water, Storm Drain, and Erosion Control plans for various Single family Residential, Multifamily Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and School site developments. My involvement in these projects included: Mapping; Initial layout considerations with Client and Architect; Coordination of survey crews for data collection of existing site conditions; Conformance with local codes and ordinances; Horizontal and Vertical site calculations, Plan preparation supervision, Quantity and cost estimates, Submittal and approvals thru local agencies; Coordination of site construction staking, Coordination with site superintendents; and Final site certifications.
My past experience includes the design of various Retail Centers, Office Complexes, and High Density Multi Family Apartment/Condo sites. Many of these sites also included the preparation and processing of Street Improvement and X-Sections within Cal-Trans Right of Ways. I have also designed multiple School sites, including new High School and Elementary School sites as well as many school site additions.
