My role was as lead senior construction inspector involved with the following:
Construction of a new road, re-routing of existing roads, installation of asphalt surfaces
on new and existing roads, inspection and monitoring of grading operations including
proof rolling and geo tech testing for these roads. Monitored traffic control when needed.
Documented OSHA trenching violations. Recorded daily progress of project by taking
pictures. Storm water systems, water mains, manholes, catch basins, fire hydrants, sidewalks, traffic lights, road stripping and traffic signs, relocation of driveways,
landscaping.

Rockburn park Maintenance Facility Capital Project - $ 1.3 million
March/2008 to January/2009 Size of pre engineering bldg – 70ft x 120ft
The building consisted of a six bay garage, rest rooms, lunch room, mechanical and
electrical rooms, conference room, offices, parking lots, and security gates & fence..
My role was on site Project Mgr and Inspector involved with the following:
Grading of site, installation of bldg concrete piers and spread footers, rebar and slab
on grade, monitored concrete and and soil bearing testing. Recorded daily progress
by using daily reports and pictures, site water and sewer tie-ins, review project
specifications, drawings & submittals, attended monthly progress meetings, inspected
mechanical plumbing , hvac, fire sprinkler and electrical systems, monitored bldg
steel installation, inspected wall framing, dry wall, painting, suspended ceiling, epoxy
flooring, utilities, cmu wall installation, issued non compliance reports.
Federal Highway Administration – Washington, D.C.
Reconstruction of Pennsylvania Ave in front of the White House from 15th St. to 17th St.
(1608 Ft), Jackson Pl.(504 Ft.), & Madison Pl. (502 Ft.). The delivery item was 22 million. The CEO for the project was Chris Schindere. The project engineer was Jorge Alvarez. My responsibilities were: demolition of and installation of roadway, sidewalks, curb, gutter, utilities, street lighting, water mains, security systems, bollards, duct banks,
landscaping, water/storm manholes & inlets & guard booths.
Also Inspected and supervised construction of projects in Wards 1 through 4.
Two delivery items were 13 million and 34 million. The CEO for the projects was Tom

Scott. The project engineers were Darcel Colins and Jose Quinones. My responsibilities were: reconstruction of roads, resurfacing of roads, water and sewer systems, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, manholes, driveways, alleyways, catch basins, streetlights, traffic fire hydrants, road striping / marking and landscaping. Other responsibilities were preparing and reviewing project reports such as: IDR’s (inspector daily reports), project closing reports, contractor pay item ledger, materials inspection reports. U.S. Dept. of Transportation FP-96 Specification was used for compliance for the above projects.

Supervised & inspected commercial & residential sites for the installation of roads, curbs & gutters. Installation of water mains, sanitary sewer & storm drain lines. Tie-ins to existing water mains & sanitary sewer lines. Installation of sanitary sewer, storm drain, & water main manholes. Installation of residential sewer house connections. Howard County design manual was used for compliance.
