I have worked for Schlumberger for the past five years as a Mechanical Technician, which consisted of mechanical & electrical assembly of LWD (Logging While Drilling) tools, and also the testing of tools in simulated wells with high temperature and hydro-pressure up to 30k.
I assembled tools using schematics and blue prints.
I performed the duties of assembly and testing of tools, which consisted of certifications in sauder and electrical checks, required by Schlumberger, also trouble shooting of tools due to failures in the simulated wells or in the field. The job required various tasks, such as ordering replacement parts, including the shipping and receiving of parts to the field, with certifications in forklift and overhead cranes.

I worked for Bayer Corporation for sixteen years as a production operator. I have taken a variety of test for Osha, EPA & Waste Water regulations in compliance with the State of Texas. I served as a member of the Fire & Rescue Team and Emergency Response Team, which consisted of handling hazardous material spills. I have attended certification classes for the Emergency Response Team at Texas A&M.
1997 – December 2003
Chemical Process Technician
Performed the duties of a distillation chemical processor. I monitored and controlled levels, temperatures, pressures, and vacuums by setting and adjusting process variables on a provox computer system. The unit I worked in produced different grades of Mondur, which used chemicals such as phosgene, MCB, MDA, in a distillation process to produce a quality-finished product of Mondur & MDI. I coordinated with the lab to meet specifications on viscosity, moisture, color, etc. to insure a quality-finished product. I also performed the duties of loading and unloading tank trucks and railcars with hazardous and non-hazardous materials. I’m familiar with DOT regulations for in state and out of state shipping products.
1992 – 1997
Waste Water Treatment Operator
Performed the duties of a wastewater treatment operator at the Bayer
Houston Plant. I operated and monitored the wastewater facility in order to
maintain compliance of effluent to state and federal regulations. My job
consisted of taking readings, controlling flows, documenting lab results
during the various stages of the water treatment process, and also checking
pumps and equipment for maximum performance and maintenance needs.
1987 – 1992
