I represent Exxon Mobil on their NRD Project (Non Road Diesel) which is the largest Diesel and Jet Fuel producing plant in America. I work as their QA Manager / Auditor; I cover the new construction of the HULA, which is an area within Exxon Mobil, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I Cover the ISBL and give advice on the OSBL project. I audit ITPs and QPs from the major Contract Companies including Jacobs Engineering, Performance and Bay.
I also have a hand on approach to ensure that my team understand and communicate effectively on various Codes and Standards including API, AWS, ASME and ASTM. I review WPS and PQRs submitted from Jacobs Engineering. Coordinating with the start up team, I bring together knowledge from various skills and areas that combine to produce a Quality product that is approved to Exxon Mobil standards, EMRE standards and Government regulations. This Job is on Schedule to be operational as per start up date.

I was working at a Conoco Phillips Refinery in California, working on a $1.6 Billion expansion project, where I am the QA/QC Manager covering units 246 (The new Hydro-Cracker Expansion project) and covering unit 235 (The new Sulfur Recovery unit) and assisting in most other areas. My duties include but not limited to, Quality Audits of all Subcontractors, my aim is to achieve Quality Controlled processes, guidelines and direction of a Construction Site, Liaison between, Engineering and Construction, working with and giving advice on various standards and codes including ASME B31-1 to B31-3, ASME, AWS and API standards, Schedule and coordinate inspection activities on site, interpretation of engineering drawings and symbols, insure than my team are documenting all information effectively, ensure proper implementation of quality processes within the inspection team and construction crews, review Quality plans and ITPs, and assist in choice of contractors inspectors. Develop and coordinate site Audit schedule, Generate NCRs and RFI and follow through till completion, I was also involved in most engineering decisions both major and minor. I achieved an excellent quality controlled job and a safe working environment within a multi discipline team. This job was complete and successfully operational prior to the schedules start up date.

I was working on a new plant in Tracy Clark, Reno, Nevada as a General Foreman, working on above and underground Carbon and Stainless Steel pipe work. We made extensions to a Sierra Pacific power plant, including new HRSG, water treatment plant, working with various contractors providing schedule communication.

My hands on duties include weld inspection of most high pressure parts including all main steam lines, Water intake valves, feed inlets and outlets in most boilers and worked within the given guide lines of B31-1 – B31-3, BS 4515, ANSI/AWS DI-I, most welds were subjected to X-Ray, UT, MPI, DPI and stress relieved, working with client and codes.

I Work with all piping materials and structural steel, Riser Pipe work, Flow Lines-Oil and Gas, Austenitic and Duplex Stainless Steels, Crane Repairs, Pressure vessel repairs and Structural Fabrications. I also have experience in various alloys such as Inconel, Zeron, Cunifer, Titanium, Paralloy, Low Temp carbon steels, Chrome up to 9%, Stainless Steel, Hastalloy and Duplex.
