Significant Accomplishments
Construction of a library for Harvard University on a postage stamp site in
Harvard square which included deep excavation, complicated soil remediation,
Slurry wall construction, cast in place reinforced concrete superstructure,
geothermal technology, LEED accreditation, and very high end finishes. All
under extreme winter conditions
Erection of the 125,000 square foot concrete, and steel Shirley Middle School on the former Fort Devans military installation requiring soil remediation and considerable latent subsoil conditions over a 110 acre site.
Building of a new 60,000 square foot headquarters for the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department. consisting of a concrete and steel structure and the development of a 40 acre site.
Redevelopment of the Boston Police District 4 South End station into high end condominiums. Required adding additional floor space by raising the roof,
and introducing a mezzanine floor level. Additionally this project required considerable structural modifications to satisfy newly introduced floor loads
and satisfy current seismic requirements. The exterior of the building received
a total restoration to address historic concerns.
Total historic reconstruction of a Polaroid R + D facility and conversion into
their Corporate World Headquarters of approx.60,000 square feet
Two satellite clinics for Mass General Hospital in downtown Boston.
Numerous projects for Lotus Development including their original headquarters
And their manufacturing facility in East Cambridge
