11/07 to 02/10 InterMountain Pipeline Construction, LLC Las Vegas, NV
InterMountain Pipeline Construction. As the active owner of a start up utility contracting company I was responsible for estimating, accounting, invoicing, field production and customer service. Started the company at the end of 2007 slightly before the economic downturn of the Las Vegas market. We went from no clients to seven active clients and listed on the bid list for twenty general contractors. Unfortunately, not enough projects were awarded to last longer than the economic downturn.
10/05 to 09/07 Dow Industries Inc. Las Vegas, NV
Project Manager for Commercial / Residential Dry Utilities Division (11/06 - 09/07)
With two production superintendents and one close out superintendent we managed a division of 65 employees. As project manager at Dow Industries I was responsible for project scheduling using Microsoft Project, job costing using Timberline Accounting, change order tracking in Timberline Accounting, customer relations and project close out. While supervising the dry division I also completed a seven million dollar residential project outside of the Las Vegas Valley in Laughlin Nevada. The project included the installation of the storm drain, sewer, water, power and telephone underground utilities. With the seven million dollar residential contract and the dry division gross sales of six million. I was responsible for thirteen million of the forty million dollar gross sales of Dow Industries.
Project Manager for Commercial / Residential Dry Utilities Division (10/05 - 11/06)
The opportunity was presented to gain the knowledge of dry utility construction. I managed half of the division while working with the current division project manager. I supervised one field production superintendent and one close out superintendent. Responsible for project scheduling, job costing, change orders, customer relations and project close out. At this time the division was handling a gross sales volume of five million dollars.
05/05 to 09/05 Harber Company Inc. Las Vegas, NV
General Manager - As general manger I supervised the accounting functions, material take off clerk and field production superintendent for the owner. I also handled the project manger duties of the company. I also cleared all backlog of outstanding change orders and accounts receivables that were over ninety days.
05/02 to 05/05 Dow Industries Inc. Las Vegas, NV
Project Manager for Residential Wet Utilities (04/04 to 05/05)
As one of two project managers for the wet utility division I worked with one field production superintendent and one close out superintendent. Together we supervised 70 employees. At this time I also supervised a two person traffic control department and a two person GPS department. As project manager I was responsible for tracking job cost, project scheduling, material ordering, customer relations and final close out of projects. I was responsible for eight million dollars of the division's fifteen million dollars gross revenue.
Project Manager for Commercial Wet Utilities (02/02 to 04/04)
The Project Manager for the commercial division was responsible for the installation of wet utilities on commercial sites and public works projects. I was responsible for one field production superintendent and one close out superintendent. Together we supervised 30 employees. I was responsible for job costing, project scheduling, material orders, customer relations and final close out of projects. The commercial division was responsible for five million dollars of the twenty million dollar gross sales of the company.

Assistant Project Manager - Responsible for logging plans, tracking submittals and aiding the project manager in his duties so that I could learn the steel construction business. The company was forced to downsize after the September 11th attacks and the cancellation / hold of several projects.
06/83 to 07/01 Western Pipeline Construction Inc. Las Vegas, NV
Started with the company while in high school as a runner. While in college I was a labor, operator and promoted to foreman. After graduating from University of Nevada Las Vegas I was promoted to Superintendent. I was in charge of four five man crews and one two person completion / final crew.
