Hired to direct all aspects of estimating and field operations for a mid-sized General Contractor. Company self performs drywall and acoustic ceilings work in-house, specializing in Tenant Improvement, Healthcare, Retail and Pharmaceutical projects.
 Initiated a unique approach to jobsite supervision that allows carpenter foreman to not only supervise the drywall work but also serve as the project superintendent to oversee all trades, therefore; eliminating the cost of a project superintendent. This approach has allowed us to lower our fees and general conditions costs, which has enabled us to procure over 35% of work bid at very profitable margins.
 Developed weekly “Timberline†job cost reports that automatically monitors actual versus budgeted job costs and change orders, including subcontractor and material costs.
 Responsible for overseeing: one estimator, one purchasing agent, five project managers and two road superintendents.

Recruited to lead the growth, profitability, and day-to-day field operations for the NJ division of one of the nation’s largest drywall companies, with responsibility for commercial projects ranging from $50K to $50MM. Held full P&L responsibility for $40MM in average annual sales, led a team of six Project Managers, and oversaw activities of 200 site employees and personnel representing three union organizations – Carpenters, Finishers, and Laborers.
 Increased job profitability return from 1% to 13% within a two-year period by introducing continuous improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and a well-established network of highly qualified employees with strong work ethics.
 Initiated bi-weekly project manager meetings to monitor job costs and resolve job site issues and concerns, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency.
 Introduced a system program that accelerated the outstanding receivables collection process and integrated new billing strategies, enabling quicker monthly payment turnarounds.
